Local Lounge Zurich

Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland, lies in the heart of Europe and is an important economic, cultural and social centre of the Swiss Confederation. One fifth of Switzerland’s national income is generated in the metropolitan region, where three out of five major Swiss banks are based. As an international financial centre, Zurich enjoys an excellent reputation and is regularly listed in the Global Financial Centres Index as one of the top 10 most important financial centres in the world.

The interdisciplinary professional exchange expands the knowledge and helps with upcoming decisions. According to ‘Plato’, a good decision is based on knowledge.

What awaits you in the Lounge Zurich

The Local Lounge Zurich takes place in the rooms of the stately “Zunfthaus zur Saffran” on Limmatquai. In keeping with the tradition of the guilds, the “Zunfthaus zur Saffran” continues to provide an exceptional setting for an exchange of ideas. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants have the opportunity to be inspired by the lectures at the evening events, make new contacts and cultivate relationships with colleagues.

You can expect cross-legal lecture evenings in the tension between science, state and economy as well as lively discussions on internationally relevant topics among experts. In exclusive discussion groups, participants learn first-hand about the necessary background and analysis for understanding complex tax processes and economic interrelationships. The Local Lounge Zurich thus offers an excellent framework for networking, inter-professional exchange of experience and lateral thinking.
